Caring for Your Preserved Flowers

However, since preserved flowers are fresh flowers that were picked when at bloom and preservedΒ in their best state, they're actuallyΒ stillΒ as fragileΒ as fresh flowers. Hence, there are things you can do to make sure these beauties last for as long as they can. So, let's look at some tips onΒ caringΒ for your preserved flowers!
1.Β Keep them away from moisture and water!
Do not keepΒ your preserved flowersΒ inΒ humid places or environments. In coastal or rainy areas whereΒ humidityΒ is very high, keep them away from places where air enters or where there are ventilation grilles. Instead, keep them in cool and dry environment. Remember -Β water is not their friend!
2. Keep them out of direct sunlight!
To keepΒ your preserved flowersΒ from discolouring, avoid placingΒ them under direct sunlight. Also, dust them every now and then with a tissue or a hairdryer and take care not to damage their delicate petals! This brings me to the last step...
3. Be gentle with them!
Do notΒ press, bend orΒ squashΒ the petals or stems. They're delicate and can be easily damaged!
Preservation makes it possible to have all kinds of highly ornamental interior decoration. But donβt forget thatΒ preserved flowersΒ are still natural plants, just that they've undergone a preservation process so that they can maintain their beauty without needing maintenance.
